For 50 years, as the first large event ride of the biking season, the Monster Cookie has had the special privilege of helping riders kick off their spring biking season. Set in the heart of the Willamette Valley, be prepared to enjoy views of four Cascade peaks (on clear days), a memorable optional ride up to the iconic Mt Angel Abbey, mouth-warming pie and coffee at our own Willamette Valley Pie Company, and so much more.
There are three rides to choose from: the Full Monster Cookie Metric Century, the Half Monster Cookie Metric Century, and the Mini Monster Cookie 6.2 Miles Ride. Optional sack lunches are available (pre-orders online only). It‘s a wonderful way to spend the day.
The Salem Bicycle Club puts on the event. Although registration is not required through VBC, it is required through the Salem Bicycle Club.
