DETAILS
One of the prettiest routes in the area. Ride to Frenchman’s Bar Park and back. The park offers a good rest stop with water fountains and restrooms. It is right on the river so we can watch the ships, birds and fisherman (on a warm day you might want to sit for awhile). On a good day we can see four mountains. In the spring and fall the wetlands are teaming with birds of all kinds. You are almost guarenteed to see osprey. Be aware that traffic can be bad on warm weekends and evenings. This route can also have lots of glass, so be prepared for flats.
Slower riders are welcome but should be prepared to ride on their own. Since this is an out and back, so you will see the faster riders on the way back. We will also take a longer rest stop at Frenchman's Bar.
