Feel comfortable on your bike? Want to gain confidence riding city streets, riding with a group, clipping in, ascending and descending, have fun and meet new people? Come Ride With Us! This is the next step after Road Cycling 101. We will start with easy routes and progress each week in either distance and/or elevation. We will repeat some ride segments, eg McLoughlin, Blandford until we have a comfort level riding them. No rider ever left behind. The Road Cycling 201 series is free to all riders. You do not have to be a member of Vancouver Bicycle Club. All you need is a bike in good working order and a helmet. Helmets are required for all riders for all Vancouver Bicycle Club rides. This is a recurring series of rides each Monday through May, 27. Please arrive to be ready to ride at 5:30 pm. We will do a group intro, go over the plan for the evening and head out by 5:45 pm.
Notes:
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policyand be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required.
