Complete Streets: Safe travel for all road users, all ages and abilities, all modes of transportation City Council decides tonight if we will ride in bike lanes on Columbia or park cars there instead. We want them to know we see this decision as a transportation safety issue. We'll RIDE slowly and safely up and down Columbia, park our bikes at City Hall in the back and then attend the meeting there on the second floor. We'll also WALK Columbia for those who prefer not to ride but want to support safe streets. Complete Streets improvements make it safer for pedestrians as well as cyclists and drivers. Walkers - we will meet and depart our walk at the same time and place as the cyclists. Carole Dollemore is our walk leader. **Wheels roll: 5:10pm - we can park there starting 5:01** Starting point: Bike Clark County back parking lot. They've generously agreed to let us use their lot, but they are there until 5. Bike parking: city hall plaza area, south side of the building. We'll have a volunteer watching the bikes. Wear high viz, VBC gear, or something that tells Council who you are.
