The VBC has been doing the “Gran Fondo” for a few years where we’ve intentionally had a lot of pace groups available in one ride. Please join us in one of the pace groups/distances listed below. This ride meets at the Starbucks by the Albertson's in Salmon Creek. The start location for the Gran Fondo West which has been happening for a few years. But...the route heads south. And, even has a stop at one of Vancouver's finest: The Donut Nook. Notes:
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
