Description:
Social ride but without a lot of meandering. Pedaling the RACC route to cross 164th Ave gets the blood pumping. Then we find a few streets that have relatively few stop signs. In Fairway Village we ride Baypoint down a long swooping hill - no stop signs! We take Blairmont back up but it is gentle. One more hill towards the end when we climb Buena Vista from Andresen. We ride together or re-group.
Winter Gear:
If the sun is shining, 40 degrees can feel dandy. Otherwise, consider layers including something for your head, face, feet, and hands.
Expectations:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.
Riders are expected to have read the club's Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with club Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions or concerns to the ride leader or our club Road Captain.
Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), Road IDs, cell phones, tool kit, mirrors, and pump are recommended. Check your bike before you come to make sure it's in good working order.
If you want a cue sheet, please print it from the link above. You can see our route online at the Ride With GPS link above. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace, but this is a "No rider left behind group." Please communicate with your leader if you decide to go off route.
Remember - we want to be awesome representatives of the cycling community in Clark County and spread a love and respect for our great sport by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
