DETAILS
Pace 13-14 mph on the flats, slower on the hills. We will plan to ride together, but regroup at the tops of hills as needed.
The route starts at Taps Growler House off 162nd and makes it's way down to the Burnt Bridge Creek trail, where we ride it to the end. We'll stop for a few moments at the end of the trail for a water break before we begin climbing up Lakeshore to Felida, and then a fun weeeeee..... down the hill into the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail.
Upon exiting the park, we will take HWY 99 up the hill to 107th, where we'll turn left and weave our way back through the neighborhoods to St. Johns, and then the Padden Parkway Trail. Once we exit the trail, we'll do some more weaving through the neighborhoods to make our way back to Taps Growler House in East Vancouver to celebrate a birthday!!! 🥳
Link for Taps Growler House: Yum!
Bring something to munch on, as we'll be stopping for 10 minutes along the Salmon Creek Trail for a restroom and snack break.
Please arrive a few minutes early so you can complete your ABC check, and be ready to roll promptly at 10:00 AM.
I try my best to keep us at the pace posted, but sometimes with a tailwind, or when going downhill, my pace will pick up a bit.
The opposite goes for hills and a headwind, both can slow me down.
Faster and slower rides are welcome to join, but please download the route so you know the way should we get separated.
