Since summer is winding down...the ride times will begin to start a little earlier.

Add some fun midway thru the slog of the week! The idea is to burn enough calories (the "Spin") such that we all can feel sufficiently good in order to - if time allows & a suitable and safe (probably a spot with outdoor seating for now) venue can be found - gather for 90 min or so and socialize while enjoying a nice bite and a beverage (the "Sin"). This ride is 30 miles and features just enuff hills (800ft of gain) to keep most mountain goats happy for weekday ride, while also offering descents sane enough to stay off the brakes and keep the legs working.

Pace: After 20 mins (I'm old!!) of warm-up, on a completely flat (hardly any) section, w/ smooth (not much exists) pavement, no wind (ha!), and having recovered from whatever hill, proposed pace is 18mph. Plan on just a bit over 2 hrs to complete the route, barring any flats/mechanicals.

Type: The type of ride is a Group. To the greatest extent possible - we will try to stay together. May need to re-group around hills.

Please note: The pace of 18. Riders should be able to maintain that pace on the flats. Not there yet? There are some other rides to train on - then join us on this one when you're there.
