Are you new or just getting back into riding and you want company. Join us! We will learn how to ride between two of Clark County's closest gems: Vancouver Lake and Frenchman's Bar.
THIS MONDAY ONLY -- START @ Frenchman's Bar, Vancouver (scroll down for address/map link) $3 parking fee for cars. (No fee to ride your bike into the park). Park/meet by the restrooms that are near the sand volleyball courts, a couple of picnic tables, and a viewing platform. OPTION - Are you a 201 RIDER? Can you ride 14 mph for 7 miles, possibly into a bit of wind? Ride with Jan from the back lot of Bike Clark County, 1604 Main St. We'll ride to and from the ride for a possible total of 24 miles. Some path, some not. Bring water and a bite to eat and a tube that fits your wheel - or a cell phone for rescue! Bring a bike in good working order (pump those tires), wear your helmet (REQUIRED), and tuck in some water, and a tube that fits your wheel. Have questions? Bring those, too! Please arrive 15 minutes early to be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended.
