Saturday, 11/30, Update as of 8:15am: This ride starts/ends at Angels Donuts in east Vancouver. It begins a little before 11am. Want to ride - but ride when it's a bit warmer - come on this ride!! Angel's Donuts: 212 NE 164th Ave #005, Vancouver, WA 98684 Corner of 164th Ave and 1st St. First: Where are we going? Let's head east. But...we will detour to the north a bit, too! Route Here Please bring a cue sheet or plan to stay with the group. Also note the pace of 17-ish. Description: Head to east Vancouver via relatively flat roads. The beginning of the ride offers a detour north to Hockinson and The Ditch. Then...we head east. At the edge of Harmony Sports complex in east Vancouver, the route turns south before eventually heading west. The route loops back around north by Clark College before tackling the hill at St. Johns Road. After that, you’re in the home stretch to the start of the route at Safeway. Are we going to do a rest stop? You bet! We're going to take a break at Angel's Donuts in east Vancouver. What is up with the name of the ride? It's called "Steve's Celebratory Donut Ride" because during the month of November, Steve: - Rode his bike 30 straight days - Accumulated over 1,000 miles - Climbed over 50,000 feet Wow!! Let's celebrate by riding more and, of course, eating donuts. Hope to see you there!

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
