This week’s JOY!ride:
Looking for a beginner-friendly ride? Ride with Jan from Bike Clark County to her favorite neighborhood.
Distance: friendly miles with a friendly group
Start: Bike Clark County (park in back) 1604 Main St Finish: Back at BCC. Option for a beer and a bite at Tap Union on 13th and Washington after we ride. How do I prepare: Pump tires. Check brakes. Spin wheels to check that they roll freely. Bring a tube that fits your tires. Test ride around the block. Bring what you need to be comfy: sunscreen, water bottle, snack, chapstick, cell phone? Need a mechanic? There are many, but these local bike shops supported our RACC event and we highly encourage your patronage! NOTE: This is a short ride, but lights (white up front and red in the back) are always a good idea toward sunset.
