When: Sunday, June 9 Time: Wheels Roll 9am Where: Meet at Home Depot Cascade Station (11633 NE Glenn Widing Dr, Portland, OR 97220) Type: Regroup/Social Pace: 16-18 on the flats Regroup at tops of all hills and turns. Terrain: Moderate Climbing Miles: ~50 Note from Carolyn: I need to map this with RWGPS...as I do not see a cue sheet on the VBC webpage. Marine Drive to Troutdale. Take the Historic Columbia River Highway along the Sandy River, climb up to Corbett for a dramatic view of the Columbia River Gorge. Follow the old highway into The Gorge, passing numerous waterfalls along the way, to Multnomah Falls. Then, return praying the wind is at your back Bring enough food and water to get to our turnaround at the Falls. We can get water at Crown Point if needed.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
