Steve Baltazar is doing a hilly Battle Ground ride. His ride starts at 9am. This is a group ride to Steve's ride! Enjoy the less traveled roads to BG before we meet up with the rest of the group. This ride will leave the Salmon Creek Albertson's/Starbucks at 8am to arrive in BG a little before 9am. Once we meet up with Steve's ride, you have two ride options: 1. Ride with Sally on a route back to Salmon Creek Starbucks that doesn't have a lot of elevation. (approx 33 miles) Sally's Route = Click Here 2. Ride with Steve on his hilly ride. (45 miles...plus the distance between Salmon Creek Starbucks and back - approx 22 miles) Once you arrive back to the finish on Steve's ride, you're on your own to get back to the Salmon Creek Starbucks. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policyand be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start.
