I-205 multi-use path
Author Last Post
Hello Kristina & Christopher,

Thanks for your valuable input! You both saved me a lot of trouble. I was looking for a safe trail I can ride alone on my time.  So bummed and sad to hear condition of the path. Thanks again, everyone!

We were on this trail system last Saturday and yes it is not in real great shape. We witnessed a man trying to smoke meth just north of Clackamas town center on the 205 trail. We had to weave between homeless folks from before Foster rd till we hit the no camping ban in Gresham on the Springwater. Then rode back through it all heading south on the Springwater into Sellwood where it cleared up again. I definitely don’t suggest riding alone.

Hello everyone!

I am curious & thinking of riding I-205 multi-use path from the bridge to Springwater Corridor.  I Google mapped it and it had me taking N.E. 102nd Ave & eventually connecting to Springwater.  I have heard that this path is littered with garbage, homeless, etc that would be unsafe for bike riding.  Has anyone ridden this portion lately?  And if so, what condition did you find it in?  Is it safe?

Thanks for your input.
