The VBC Board is now taking nominations for the Outstanding Service Award and the New Member Service Award. The Outstanding Service Award is given annually to individuals who have demonstrated leadership and significant service over many years. The New Member Service Award is given intermittently to individuals who have demonstrated leadership and significant service within their first 3 years of membership. You can find more information about the Outstanding Service Award and New Member Service Awards, including a list of past winners, on the Club's website:
Please send nominations directly to me (sstorkel@gmail.com) and I will make sure they get forwarded to the entire Board.
When you submit your Outstanding Service Award and New Member Service Award nominees, it's helpful if you provide a description or list of their contributions. While not required, this information helps the Board accurately evaluate all nominees.
