If you'd like to try something a bit different, join me and others for two rides going to places not often on the Event Calendar: tomorrow's (Thursday's) "El Camino a Camas" ride and Saturday's "Lake Oswego Hill Popper".
The ride to Camas avoids Prune Hill, and we won't be going up Garfield as we leave downtown, but we will roll through some beautiful parts of Clark County. The Lake Oswego ride is more suited to those who enjoy some hills, spread out pretty evenly along the route, but will also be fun for those who'd like to see the many lovely neighborhoods, as well as views of more of the Lake, than the casual observer might encounter.
The weather looks promising (for mid-October) on both days, so come on out and celebrate what makes riding with the VBC interesting.
