Does anyone know the backstory on how the Earthquake ride(s) got their name? As I understand it, Tom Dollemore was leading a ride when there was an EQ which could be felt here in Vancouver. True? If so, when did this happen? Does anyone know if it could be felt by people on the ride, and where were they on the route when it occurred?
I led a recent version of the EQ and one of the registrants asked about these things. I'd love to have your help filling in the blanks. Thank you!
