It’s almost time for the VBC Volunteer Recognition Day Metric Century Ride. The weather is promising a wonderful morning. I wanted to send out a few points before the ride.
Start time for the Metric Century is 8:30
Start time for the 34 mile Explorer Route is 9:00
Start location for both rides are:
Fort Vancouver (410 Building)
795 E. Fifth Street
Vancouver, WA 98661
Please be ready to ride as we will depart on time.
There are no rest rooms at the ride start. There are restrooms at Burnt Bridge, mile 12 of the Metric Ride.
We will also have two supported rest stops during the ride staffed by VBC volunteers.
You may consider carrying a bit of extra water, electrolytes and snacks. Stay fueled!
