If you ran into a slow or unresponsive VBC website over the past week or had trouble registering for a ride or event, you were not imagining it. Our website host, ClubExpress, was hit with a wave of malicious automated traffic that bogged down the platform
for clubs across the country, including ours.
The good news: It is largely resolved. ClubExpress has been working around the clock and has made significant upgrades to keep things stable, including a lot more server capacity and a new security layer that blocks junk traffic before it ever reaches
the site.
What this means for you: The website should be back to its normal, responsive self and keep getting faster in the days ahead.
One small heads-up: As ClubExpress fine-tunes its new security filters, you might occasionally encounter a feature that does not behave as expected. If something looks off, please let us know at webmaster@vbc-usa.com so we can flag it and get it sorted.
