Ready for a unique and scenic bike ride? Join us next Saturday, May 23 for an unforgettable adventure through the lower Columbia River basin, featuring two fun ferry crossings!
We’ll explore charming Puget Island (yes, on the Columbia River, not Puget Sound!) and pedal through a beautiful wildlife refuge that serves as a sanctuary for endangered Columbian white-tailed deer.
🗺️ Route Highlights & Terrain
-
Peaceful Roads: Most of our route is on quiet, low-traffic scenic roads.
-
A Touch of Gravel: Includes two short sections of easy gravel trail that is manageable on a standard road bike.
-
Highway Stretches: There are three short segments (each no more than a mile) on a highway, but they feature a wide, comfortable shoulder.
