There's a new donut shop in Hazel Dell! Mr. Maple Donuts. Let's check it out! But, we will take the long way to get there - to "earn" our donut! We will depart from the Salmon Creek Starbucks off of 20th and head north to Battle Ground. The route takes us as far east as "The Ditch" as we cruise through Hockinson. We will then head south to 99th St - before heading west. By that point...we're getting closer to Mr. Maple Donuts. At Mile 31.3, we will finally stop! They have excellent donuts (according to the Ride Leader's humble opinion!). After studying the route, you will see we're definitely taking the long way to get to the donut shop! In addition, we're traversing different roads to avoid the craziness of the corner of Highway 99 and 78th St (where the donut shop is located). Please note: Both Steve Baltazar (Donut Expert) and Sally Butts will be leading this ride. If absolutely necessary, we will break up into groups. But, we'll try to keep everyone together.
