Terrain:
First - these "hills" are truly more like bumps. 5.2 % is the toughest. All are less than a half mile. The point of this ride is to ride a few hills, NOT a lot of miles, enough to notice but no killers. And the great news is - YOU CAN SKIP THE LAST 4!
Elevation Gain:
656 ft
Pace:
14 on the flats
Ride Type:
RIVER MAIDEN: 5301 Mill Plain
Description:
New year and once again, I've got grand plans. My "training" program includes 1 hilly ride, 1 distance ride, and 1 speedy ride a week. (Haha - all terms are relative!) Monday is "hilly". Friday is "distance" because I'll ride to the ride. Not sure when I'll get speedy. For our hilly/bumpy ride, we warm up and chat for 5 miles before the first bump in the road followed by about 6 more. They are tame bumps: Nancy, Talton, Bella Vista, 97th, 95th, Columbia Ridge and Buena Vista. One more flat mile home and we're done. Hope you can join me!

Expectations:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.
Riders are expected to have read the safe riding policy and direct any questions or concerns to the ride leader.
Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), Road IDs, cell phones, tool kit, mirrors, and pump are recommended. Check your bike before you come to make sure it's in good working order.
Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace, but this is a "No rider left behind group." Please communicate with your leader if you decide to go off route.
Remember - we want to be awesome representatives of the cycling community in Clark County and spread a love and respect for our great sport by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
