184 or 361 ft

12 and friendly.  Note: this is the maximum speed on the flats, no wind.

Need a faster pace?  You're welcome to ride ahead if you print a cue.  Otherwise, this is a NO DROP ride at 12mph.

Ride Type:

Group - No rider left behind

These people have that LAYERED look.  Try your layered look on this ride and then you'll know what gear keeps you warm enough for the Xmas Lights ride November 27th.

Description:

It's cold and time to re-think riding gear.  Let's try our winter gear on a short ride at a friendly 12mph maximum on the flats pace.
Think layers.  You're probably NOT going to dress like me, but here's what I need
starting at the top: helmet cover, hat, buff, windbreaker jacket, under layer, vest, armies, mittens over thin gloves, hand warmers, winter bike tights (have thin fleece inside), wool socks, warm bike shoes, toe warmers.

Expectations:

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.

Riders are expected to have read the safe riding policy and direct any questions or concerns to the ride leader.

Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), Road IDs, cell phones, tool kit, mirrors, and pump are recommended. Check your bike before you come to make sure it's in good working order.

Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace, but this is a "No rider left behind group." Please communicate with your leader if you decide to go off route.

Remember - we want to be awesome representatives of the cycling community in Clark County and spread a love and respect for our great sport by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner.  Ride safely and have fun!
