Michael Sylvester is a well-known and respected Portland bike fitter (Bicycle Fitting Services). He has been doing bike fits since the 1980s. He also teaches others how to do bike fittings and has worked with major bike companies including Trek and Serrota. Michael focuses on understanding the specifics of your body and how it relates to a bike. He custom fits your body to your bike with the goal of making you comfortable and to prevent injury. Come and learn some ways you can make your bike a more comfortable ride. The President's "lessons learned the hard way" will be on adjusting rear derailleur to get clean shifts. AUTO PARKING: Parking at the VHA building is limited. There is parking available in the neighborhood. So, leave time to find parking. BIKE PARKING: You can't bring your bike inside the VHA building. There a several trees right outside the community room that cable locks could go around. Those can easily be seen from the community room windows. There's a double locker just North of 20th and Main which is paid parking. There is one bike rack on site.
