One of the best planners the city of Vancouver ever had is moving. We are celebrating all her achievements to make biking and walking safer tonight with a dinner at Tamale Boy in PDX. She and the rest of the staff (and a number of bike club folks) got the bike lanes on Columbia! Join us tonight to THANK ANNA! Note: Some of us are going in on a gift card for an upcoming adventure she's planning. If you'd like to be in on it, please take your donation to Pete at Bike Clark County by Monday, 7/26.
START @ Bike Clark County, 1604 Main St, Vancouver – Meet in the parking lot behind the shop. We will ride over the I-5 bridge to Rose City! Some of the route is off-road path! We'll use the bike/pedestrian bridge path starting in Vancouver and returning. We'll connect to trails/streets after crossing Hayden Island. We'll ride through Expo Center - to see (not ride) MAX and how easy it is with your bike We'll enjoy the path past PIR. Denver is a great street, but we're riding parallel on a Neighborhood Greenway tonight. We'll cross over I-5 on our very on NO CARS overpass - just bikes and peds! If you haven't seen the crazy treehouse, we will tonight before arriving at Tamale Boy. We sail home on Vancouver Ave, catch the Columbia Slough Trail to Delta Park and ride back to Vancouver. Register and see you there! Our ROUTE.
Bring a bike in good working order (pump those tires), wear your helmet (REQUIRED), and tuck in some water, and a tube that fits your wheel. Have questions? Bring those, too! Before your first ride, visit your friendly local bike shop for expert advice on what your bike might need. Bike Clark County Camas Bike and Sport Feldman's Bicycle Repair Rolling Right Repairs
