Meet at the Tenino City Park, which you can easily find on google maps, 309 Park Ave W. Tenino, WA.  It is only a few miles outside of Tenino.  It will take about 1.5 hours to drive there.  I plan to leave my home in Salmon Creek at 8:00 am.  Bringing lots of water and a  serious snack.

It’s an old railroad bed converted to a trail so it’s flat as a pancake.  It’s an out and back trail to Olympia, about 27 miles one way.  You don’t have to go the whole way to Olympia if the mileage seems daunting.
But you do have to go to the Monarch Sculpture Garden that is about 15 miles out from Tenino.  It’s free and fun to walk around and tour the sculptures.

There is no water on the trail until you get to Olympia where we detour off the trail to a gas station Minit mart for cold water/snack.

It’s a gorgeous trail, mostly shaded, lots of benches, history, a pretty river, no cars.

The stats would be
55 mile ride or less
14 mph pace
9:45 am start time
