Note: This is weekly ride being offered out from the Vancouver Cyclery bike shop off Hwy 99. The bike shop just added Sunday opening starting at 11:00AM, so they offered to even open up early for us in case we need to use the facilities or say you forgot that all important water bottle or something! If the weather is good we might take tact on a couple of extra miles, but we'll always keep it social!! Option 1- John Kern, ride leader @ 16 mph pace Route Map:"Click Here" Option 2- Steve Baltazar, ride leader @ 18 mph pace Route Map:"Click Here" Our intentions with this ride is to offer members multiple paced rides of 16 to 18 mph, and if there is a need for faster or slower paced groups, we welcome other ride leaders to join us and we'll add additional paces.
Notes:
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read theSafe Riding Policyand be familiar with theRide Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader orRoad Captain. Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order. Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start. Remember - we want to be awesome representatives for cycling and spread a love for our great sport locally by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner.Ride safely and have fun!
