Mule Power Fondo - CANCELLED

Come explore Wahkiakum County on the banks of the Columbia River. All routes include a trip around Puget Island, nestled in the middle of the Columbia River. Longer rides include a visit around the Julia Butler Hansen Refuge for the Columbian White-Tailed Deer for a possible sighting of the deer as well as other wildlife.

Choose from 4 different rides around Wahkiakum County.

Family Ride: 6.6 miles, with little if any elevation around Puget Island
Small Ride: 21.94 miles, 375ft of elevation. Cross over the Columbia River on a well-paved bridge onto Little Island and then Puget Island and enjoy the soaring eagles and other wildlife while taking an island tour. You will be on the outskirts of the island where you may be able to get a glimpse of ships going by!
Medio Ride: 39.36 miles, 573ft of elevation. Same as the Small Ride, but adding in historic Skamokawa and some country roads (paved) for a picturesque tour of the county. This ride includes a ride around the Julia Butler Hansen Refuge.
Metric Century: 64.32 miles, 2,596ft of elevation. Same as the Medio ride, but adding in quite a bit of scenic elevation turning around at the top of Bradley Mountain.

Snacks and restrooms approximately every 15-20 miles.
