Description:
This is a social commute to the Kiggins. NZ short films, buy a glass of NZ wine or whatever you choose. Snacks. Leah of Niche Wine Bar (next door) installed the first on-street bike corral in SW WA. You can park your bike there; bring your lock! Leah is part of almost everything bikey in Vancouver and a real advocate for us. Come to enjoy and thank her! Note - Monday might be one of the last dry, moderate evenings to ride for a while--forecast is good. Bring lights (front and rear) and your lock. Might be chilly, so throw in a jacket. Or--feel free to just meet us there if you are not a night riding fan.
Tickets include commemorative wine glass
Expectations:
Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the ride to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing.
Riders are expected to have read the safe riding policy and direct any questions or concerns to the ride leader.
Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), Road IDs, cell phones, tool kit, mirrors, and pump are recommended. Check your bike before you come to make sure it's in good working order.
Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace, but this is a "No rider left behind group." Please communicate with your leader if you decide to go off route.
Remember - we want to be awesome representatives of the cycling community in Clark County and spread a love and respect for our great sport by obeying all traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
