About the abnormal ride series –
I had been told that I was an abnormal rider. The bike gods have seen my hubris and have taken me down to a normal rider. But the abnormal ride series will continue. This series will be rides that are atypical of our normal club rides. The rides may be very scenic and/or long and/or hilly and/or out of the area. Or they may just be silly fun. You be the judge.
About this abnormal ride -
This ride is flat with a ride along the Columbia River. The route heads east and climbs hills east of Woodland and north of La Center. There is about 32 miles of climbing with about 3100 feet of climbing. The climbs may be challenging. It includes a covered bridge and a grist mill run by a water wheel. It is on mostly pretty roads. It ends with a great descent back to Woodland. RideWithGPS link – Grist for the Hills 1 - Ride with GPS
