Details:

Would you ride a mile for a donut?  How about 30?  That's miles, not donuts!  The donuts are FREE because we have a birthday girl, JILL!  LET'S  EAT donuts!  Pip's serves tiny, tasty donuts.  Freshly made.  Yum.

Pip's offers Birthday Girls and Boys a FREE DOZEN DONUTS.

Start:  8am!  Our Birthday Girl doesn't want to waste time; let's get going!  We ride from River Maiden and then head south over the I-205 bridge.  We can work up an appetite doing some intervals along the Marine Dr bike path and be ready for serious donut munching at mile 17. We'll cruise bike-friendly Going Street on our way back to The Couv via the I-5 bridge.  Here's a video of Going Street and other greenways.

Notes:

PUMP YOUR TIRES if you haven't ridden in a few days.  Bring a spare tube that fits your wheels.

Front and rear lights are always a good idea.

Bring a lock and birthday wishes for Jill.  Donuts are on Pip's, but bring coffee cash.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign up and be a part of the announcements and safety briefing. Riders are expected to have read the Safe Riding Policy and be familiar with the Ride Style Definitions. Please direct questions to the ride leader or Road Captain.

Helmets are required. Lights (front and rear), RoadIDs and cell phones are recommended. Please make sure to print a ride cue sheet, if you need one. Make sure your bike is in good working order.

Riders should be able to maintain the stated pace of the group they choose. Please communicate with the leader if you decide to go off route or not return to the start. We want to be awesome representatives for cycling and spread a love for our great sport locally by obeying traffic laws and riding in a safe and courteous manner. Ride safely and have fun!
