START / FINISH down at beautiful FORT VANCOUVER



Five beautiful rides through the scenic Clark County, Washington countryside. This is the largest event hosted by the Vancouver Bicycle Club in Vancouver, Washington, USA and is fully supported. Plenty of food, FREE parking, mechanics and SAG support between the 7 well-stocked rest stops. Routes include 100, 68, 54, 34 and 20-mile rides. All are beautiful; all are fun!   Please support this year's RACC Sponsors when you can. RACC would not happen without them, and they only exist because of you and other patrons.

ROUTES

FIVE GREAT LOOPS TO CHOOSE FROM (20, 34, 54, 68 and 100 mile)!  All distances start and finish at Fort Vancouver. Head to the ROUTES page or click the links below for maps.  Maps and cues will be available at the start. 

100-MILE LOOP "The Century"

 

Century RACC: You're up for a challenge if you choose this counter-clockwise loop that travels through 5 towns heading eastward toward Camas first, then around Lacamas Lake (first rest stop), then north through the Hockinson hills (rest stop) to the *NEW* SPLIT at 219th St.  Be there by 11:30 to make sure you reach the remaining rest stops before they close. Continue north around Battle Ground Lake to the rest stop in Amboy. Riders head west and north through the scenic Cedar Creek / Lewis River area, and south through La Center via a *NEW* stretch with a downhill we know you'll love. Just before the *NEW* Ridgefield Fire Station rest stop, there's a gotta-stop photo op with some serious Americana. The route proceeds west toward Ridgefield, then south through Felida to the mini-stop, and back to the finish. As always, refreshments and rest rooms are available post-ride and we have lunch and beer at the finish line celebration!

68-MILE LOOP "The Metric"

 

Metric RACC: Loop travels east, around Lacamas Lake (first rest stop, then north through the hills of Hockinson (rest stop). Take the *NEW* left turn on 219th St to ride through Battle Ground, to the *NEW* Ridgefield Fire Station (rest stop), west through Ridgefield, then south through Felida (mini-stop) and back to the finish.

54-MILE LOOP "The Fabulous Fifty-Four"

 

RACC 54: The beauty of this route is its moderate mileage, friendly elevation profile, 3 rest stops and the scenery of both Lacamas Lake and the Columbia River.  Grab maps for both the 34-MILE LOOP and the 20-MILE LOOP to ride a 54.4 mile route.  Ride the longer route first to make sure the Lacamas rest stop is open. Enjoy a snack back at the start and then ride the new, flatter 20-mile route to our Frenchman's Bar Riverview rest stop.

34-MILE LOOP "The Lacamas Loop"

 

RACC 34: This loop travels east around Lacamas Lake (rest stop) and back to the start via Blandford Canyon, a shady downhill with considerable Wheeeee! factor. We added a mini-Wheeee just before you finish because who doesn't need a couple of good Wheeee's! on a ride, especially at the end.  Lots of fun.

20-MILE LOOP "The River Run"

 

RACC 20: Entirely new route!  We ride over the Confluence Land Bridge to the Old Apple Tree and out along the new waterfront before heading up to Fruit Valley and out to the river for a rest stop at Frenchman's Bar.  Returning we ride an older section of Lower River Road, plus riders can opt for 2 sections of trail that parallel the road or possibly 3 by July if the newest trail is finished.  Back to the start through the National Historic Site grounds of Fort Vancouver to finish off your casual ride.
