Hi Buddies - Let's try this again. Our beloved Labradoodle Spencer is on the mend. The weather looks much better for tomorrow. Hope you can join the ride!!
When: Sunday, June 9th
Time: Wheels Roll 9am
Where: Meet at Home Depot 11633 NE Glenn Widing Dr (off 205 near Cascade Station)
Type: Regroup/Social
Pace: 16-18 on the flats Regroup at tops of all hills and turns.
Terrain: Moderate Climbing
Miles: ~50
I need to map this with RWGPS...as I do not see a cue sheet on the VBC webpage.
Marine Drive to Troutdale. Take the Historic Columbia River Highway along the Sandy River, climb up to Corbett for a dramatic view of the Columbia River Gorge. Follow the old highway into The Gorge, passing numerous waterfalls along the way, to Multnomah Falls. Then, return praying the wind is at your back
Bring enough food and water to get to our turnaround at the Falls. We can get water at Crown Point if needed.
