Dear Tes:  You are the answer to my (biking) prayers!  I, too, moved here about a year ago, and am unfamiliar with places to ride.  I am miserably out of shape and have felt shy about joining rides that would hang anybody up.  I would love to meet up for a ride at the pace you suggest.  And beer!  Or coffee...
Thanks for reaching out!

All the best,
Catherine

Hi Everyone,

I'm wanting to bike more but the paces of most of the rides tend to be a bit high for my out-of-shape body. I'm great with distance but tend to be in the 10-12 mph (oh and by the way, maybe we should stop for a beer) pace range.

I moved here in August and haven't ridden much at all so I'm relatively unfamiliar with most routes and really have a great dislike for hills.

If anyone is interested in a ride like that, I would love to meet up. Or, if you have any suggestions for routes, that would be great as well. I'm open to everywhere in the metro area. Would love to explore new areas.

Thanks!
I am a slow ride type of person.  maybe there is a common time that we can find to ride after work. Contact me at
