Cycling Closet is Overflowing
Author Last Post
I am going to chime in as well. We stopped in for the first time last Saturday and thank you to everyone that has donated we were able to get our 10 year old some winter pants and jacket as we know her summer gear would not get her through our ride that day. We are definitely going to donate back and we also supported the store.... as who can leave without purchasing something.
Thanks Club!

Wow!  Way to go, generous buddies!

Just to add to Donna's post:
Bike Clark County is our partner who enables us to host RACC at Pearson (through their partnership with NPS).

Bike Clark County is a non-profit, but they have bills like anyone else.  Consider donating some items to them that might not fit in the Cyclist Closet.  They sell many, many used but still good items.

And last - please shop all of our local bike shops when you can.  Wonderful people who help us and our community.  They all give us a club member discount.  Today I ordered a tire from BCC - yes, like any shop if they don't have it in stock, they can order for you - and with our club discount (15%), the price was very similar to anything online.

Thank you faithful VBC members for your generosity in donating such amazing items to the Cycling Closet at Bike Clark County. I stopped by today to sort and organize and was totally overwhelmed at not only the amount of items (that I didn’t even have room to organize), but the quality of some of the items.

PLEASE if you need anything, stop by Bike Clark County. There are some amazing winter items including Castelli warm jackets (some really nice ones for women --- hopefully the picture was attached above. If not, email me and I will send you the picture).

The Closet also has a good selection of items including jerseys (both long and short-sleeve), jackets, shorts, arm warmers, leg warmers, gloves, water bottles, etc.  If you need something, check out the Closet!  All items are FREE!

Bike Clark County is a full-service shop open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Bike shop employees can direct you to the Cyclist's Closet.  There is a donations box if you're dropping off.  If you're picking up, we hope this is a good resource!

Don't see what you need in the Closet?  BCC is a great organization and full-service shop and would love to help you with service, items from their inventory and can even help you with a special order.
