Trillium Lk. XC Ski/Snowshoe Outing

Meet @ Fred Meyer, Mill Plain & Chkalov, Vancouver. It would be good to arrive 15-20 min. early to allow time to transfer gear & get cars loaded. Park near Garden Center @ South end of lot. We'll carpool to Trillium Lk. (3600' elev.) on Hwy 26 just east of Government Pass. Terrain is novice/intermediate but for beginners there is a very flat area about 1/4 mi. downhill from start.  Of course, snowshoes work for anyone. Great scenery - bring your camera. Main loop (4-5 mi.) groomed - donation requested. Skate skiing OK. Drivers need Sno-Park permit. Watch Buddies list for continuing info. or call Jim O'Horo @ 360-449-0804 to chat. We'll need to communicate ahead of time to figure out who's driving & who is riding with whom.
Start Time: January 20, 2013 @ 8:00 am
Ride Leader: Jim OHoro
Pace: 10 to 12 MPH - Beginner pace(frequent stops)
Style: Re-Group
