FAQ

Question: How do I start my ride from a different location from that which is shown in the ride when I select it?

Answer:  There are two ways to do this.
  1. You may add a note to the ride in the "Other Details" section titled.   Make the font bold and enlarged to catch the readers attention.
  2. You may submit a request for a new route with the new information.
Question:  In the past I submitted a ride request and could make the description whatever I wanted and more robust.  How do I do that now?

Answer:  In the past you typed in the full description of the ride and the detail you wanted.  That cannot be done now as the rides are stored in a data base and must have generic descriptions.  To add a more robust description of twists and turns enter these in the "Other Details" section when you request a ride.  So, if you're adding a stop at your favorite eatery along the way, this is where you would add that information.

Question:  I can't find the place on the calendar to suggest a ride

Answer:  You must be a member of the club to suggest a ride.  Also, did you forget to log in?

Question:  Do I have to be a club member to go on your rides?

Answer:
No, you don't have to be a club member to ride with us, and there is no charge to do so.  You do have to be at least 18 years of age (or riding with a parent or guardian who is over 18) and understand you have to ride safely and obey traffic laws.  You must wear a helmet to ride with us.
